70 Million Taka tender completes for the Rampasha to Lamakaji Bishwanath road measures

Biswanath public roads and Rampasha to Lamakaji road requires 70 million taka for the remaining 9km reform measures. They have already completed the tender process. Work orders will begin shortly said the Roads and Highways Department (RHD) Sheikh Monirul Islam, executive engineer of Sylhet.

However, Biswanath Upozilla public road repair works for ‘biswanath-ramapasa-lamakaji’ have been created in different parts of the road due to big holes appearing. In 2015 Biswanath 3 km road renovation work started but is still similiar to the rest of the remaining portion of the road. Accidents are constantly blocking the streets. Last year, for the first six kilometers of the road from Rashidpur renovation work was completed, the affected part of the reform did not work. Finally, in response to local demand remaining part of the road (from ramapasa to lamakaji) 9 km to the renovation of the measure was 70 million taka.
