Biswanath 8UK held an all members meeting to establish a new Committee

Biswanath 8UK an organisation dedicated to working for the habitants of Biswanath held an all members meeting on Tuesday 28th February at Crescent Hall, Luton, United Kingdom.

This meeting was attended by S.I Khan, M.S Rahman, Professor Farid Ahmed, Azad Ali, Enus Ali, Sundar Ali, Abu Monsur, Abdul Mojid, Toyobur Rahman, Dilwar Hussain, Salek Chowdhury, Azad Khan, Hafiz Md Toyeb Rahman, Md Nanu Ahmed and Monir Khan.

The purpose of this meeting was to review progress of key activities and discuss the formation of a new committee to replace the existing temporary committee established by the founders of the organisation.

Existing temporary committee members included Md Anwar Hussain (President), S.I Khan (Secretary) and Md Nanu Ahmed (Treasurer).

The organisations members agreed to defer the formation of a full committee until a later meeting to be held on 4th April 2017.  In the meantime, the members nominated and voted in below members to form a committee and they are;

Professor Forid Ahmed (Senior Council), Monir Khan (President), Azad Khan (Vice Chair), Mohammed Sajjadur Rahman (Vice Chair), S.I Khan (Secretary) and Md Nanu Ahmed (Treasurer).

The members agreed to extend the founder members admission until the end of March 2017. If you wish to join this organisation please download, complete and submit the application form along with your admission fee.

Learn from the history of Biswanath by highlighting the past achievements and focus on developing the skills and knowledge of the local habitants, improve computer literacy, establish local online e-commerce knowledge portal, provide vocational training, to allow habitants from Biswanath to communicate and trade throughout the World.
