Biswanath 8UK EC Meeting on 18th February

Biswanath 8UK an organisation dedicated to working for the habitants of Biswanath held an EC meeting on Monday 18th February 2019 at Annando Mahal Restaurant in Luton.

This meeting was attended by Monir Khan, S.I Khan, Moulana Nurur Rahman, Azad Khan, Abdul Wadud Sahil, Azad Ali, Sundar Ali (Nozrul), Kodor Uddin, Enus Ali, MD Nanu Miah.

The purpose of this meeting was to review previous meeting actions and discuss arrangements for the charity dinner party.

Key Decisions made by EC

  1. EC members agreed that the charity dinner party must go ahead as planned and confirmed the sub-committee
  2. EC members agreed that a booklet with sponsors should be produced for the charity dinner party
  3. EC members agreed we should plan for 300 guests
  4. Sub-committee group are responsible for below key activities
    1. Book venue and arrange food and refreshments
    2. Editorial of event booklet
    3. Sponsorship and promotions
    4. Any other venue and event arrangements

A meeting is planned by Biswanath 8UK on Monday 4th March in London to discuss ongoing projects activities with the sub-committee.

Biswanath 8UK is also planning a charity dinner party in June 2019 to be held in London to raise funds for one project selected by the organisation.

Biswanath 8UK is governed by its own members agreed constitution and this prohibits participation or support of any political or religious organisation and their activities.

To unite all the habitants of Biswanath throughout the World, to work collectively to the development of its habitants, identify issues that relates to Biswanath, prioritise issues and find sustainable solutions that can be developed in a way that benefits the habitants of the Upojilla.

Learn from the history of Biswanath by highlighting the past achievements and focus on developing the skills and knowledge of the local habitants, improve computer literacy, establish local online e-commerce knowledge portal, provide vocational training, to allow habitants from Biswanath to communicate and trade throughout the World.
